Bruno’s 2009 Mustang GT Project
This is my update to my Sept 2008 posting:
During last winters long and cold nights I did some new modifications to my 2009 California Special a.k.a. S02 (Steiner, 2nd Mustang Project)
The engine compartment now includes a powerful ATI Procharger Stage II System with the related power mods like Shelby performance fuel pump, Magnaflow sport cats with X-Pipe, MSD Ignition Coils, Wideband 02-Sensors and a beautiful adjustable alloy strut tower brace and some more small mods. Then I changed the wheels to these fine forged and super lightweight multi piece GFG-Wheels 10 inch wide at the rear with 295/25 Tires.
The front includes painted A47 brake cooling ducts and the lower Grill Insert from Silverhorseracing. I cut out the fenders for the fender vents by 3D Carbon. For the vents I had to remove the CS stripes but I replaced them to customized GT/CS rocker stripes.
And I changed the Ford Racing axle back’s to stock again because they was a little to noisy in combination with the Magnaflow high flow Cat’s and X-Pipe for my neighbourhood. Therefore I welded on custom made 4” chrome tips instead of the OEM ones for a better look.
This is it for this ride but I plan to build the S03 next year based on a 2011 5.0 or Shelby as a present to myself for my coming 40th Birthday.
Sincerely, one of your most returning foreign visitors on Mustangworld!
Keep up the great work on the Mustang and happy birthday to you Bruno !
