A long overdue MW feature, we've known Dennis for years and seen him at many shows. His car has been featured in Mustang calendars and all the larger magazines. We finally got him here in select stangs with some pics we'e taken over the years. - MW

Modifying my GT has been a slow but steady process for five years, but of course, it's never done. In addition to the traditional madness such as an intercooled blower and full Griggs Racing suspension, there are many one-off items that have been built for the car including the latest: a custom differential/rear-end cooler that is trunk mounted and inspired by some race cars out running recently at California Speedway. Often, it seems as if the "mod mission" becomes the old "two steps forward, one step back" routine with setback and delays but when the car is out and running correct — which it is now in mid-2002 — it's a road rocket.

Have never timed it in the quarter although I know it will hold its own. However, it's set up more for road-course racing rage anyway. Meanwhile, it fares well on the car show circuit in Southern California every year since buying it new in '97. Dozens of trophies have been won. The cool flame job and HRE wheels really help it stand out. Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine recently did a multi-page article on the car and it is currently featured in that magazine's 2002 Calendar.
