Kevin's 4.6L Engine Rebuild

Finished rebuild (SVO blower and other mods)

Here is how the rebuild went after breaking a piston on the dyno. It made 310rwhp/350rwtq twice before it broke. Rebuilt by myself, (98GT4me).

I found it easier to take the engine apart and then pull just the block since I was going to do the rebuild by myself. This is also the first modular motor that I have built. Added a few things as long as I had it apart also. If I had to do it again, I would save LOTS of time in machine work and waiting on parts and just go with an assembled short block from Steve. I did it a lot cheaper than buying a short block but at the expense of waiting for 3 months before I got it back together again. It fired up on the first crank. Those Dynomax Headers smoked like crazy for 15 minutes and filled the garage with thick nasty smoke, hack hack. Now for the break in and tune, either by Swanson or Inject Tech.
