Hillbank Motor Corporation USA was established in November 1999 in southern California. As the proud southwestern dealer for the world-renowned Superformance replicas. It is owned and run by Lance Stander.

Lance a self confessed "gear head" has been involved in almost every aspect of the auto industry, he has raced touring cars, managed auto dealerships, is an expert in the area of auto salvage and is even fairly handy with a wrench.

This also translates to his crew here which are all performance nuts as well :-)

Today Hillbank is also a retailer for Performance Mustang parts and Official Shelby parts Distributor.

They just moved from Costa Mesa, CA to a new larger building in Irvine, CA. Which houses Hillbank motorsports, Superformance (replicas) and Shelby Distribution offices.

On the Superformance side, In the lobby you are greeted by a few built engines and awards...

This continues to the main waiting room where you can see tons of photos from the thousands of cars they have produced for happy customers around the world. You may also see some for sale at the Barret Jackson autcions and other fine auto retailers. You can see photos of the replica Shelby Cobra, GT40 and Cobra coupes below (photo index).

Here is a small sample of the cars in the showroom, many of which are already sold. Including 2 types of Cobra open top. The Superformance and original Shelby spec version. They were driving out a GT40 for a customer when we were there. There was also an all aluminum body Shelby in the rear that made our mouth water.

At the same location, located at the rear is Hillbank Motorsports' wearhouse which is huge and full of parts for late model Mustangs !

Superformance Shelby. One amazing thing about their replica cars is how "complete" it comes to you. You get a complete finished car, less engine and trans. When we say finished car, we mean finished. Painted, rims, tires, side pipes, everything on the car is totally and completely finished and put together. All you need is to order one, drop in an engine / trans combo of your choice and buy some car wax.

Hillbank has also licensed the offical "GT40" name for use on their (suprise) GT40 replicas. This car is insane. You'll have to check out the pics below to view it in all it's glory. Lance drives this thing hard. He even drove it to Las Vegas (from Irvine) for SEMA.
